Salamander Slings was born out of sheer frustration. Whenever you need to really move—whether that's sprinting, climbing into a deer stand, or throwing a leg over a snowmobile—carrying usually means accepting a major compromise. You either get a secure hold that's painfully slow to deploy, or fast access that leaves your equipment beating against you. Even the premium slings on the market couldn't bridge that gap.

I knew there had to be a better way. I headed out to my machine shop—now affectionately known as the Salamander Refugium—and got to work. After a year of relentless prototyping, testing, and refining, the Salamander Tail was born. We are a small, independent shop dedicated to solving real problems, and I genuinely appreciate your support.
